Wow – that was frustrating.
A week or more of the site being offline, and more than a week before that of some teething issues as we tried (with varying degrees of success) to carry off The Great Hosting Migration of 2008.
As far as we can tell, everything is pretty much as it should be now. Links should lead to places they are meant to go, pictures should display where pictures should display, and by and large, we can return you to your irregularly scheduled programme.
Please let me know if you spot any problems. Thanks very much.
Hooray!
i missed the site.. nice to see it back up :)
Great to see the site back up. I know how you feel, having recently been through a similar experience myself. Total ‘mare, as they say.
Seems to be a problem with the RSS feed, FYI, BTW, TYVM.
Good catch – thanks. Feed fixed now, I think… though it might spit out some old posts in the process of the restart.
excellent – good to see it back up
Hi Andrew,
I’m not sure that’s because you switched your hosting but I received the last 10 posts on the RSS feed (old posts). I remember it happened once before.
That’s it :-)

It’s because I redirected the feed each time at Feedburner. Once it gets a new signal, it goes back 10 posts to catch up.
Won’t happen again. :)
