This podcast presents a very realistic perspective about how artists should evaluate their eforts. There are lots of reasons businesses use “numbers” to validate, develop, and assess strategy. Music is a product many businesses engage in (as we all know) but music at its core is and always has been about personal expression and inspiration. Your conversation about that very theme is worth speaking loudly about, though I reckon many will defend their efforts at using social network statistics believing every “like me” will ultimately translate into pounds and dollars and propel them into U2 prosperity or Justin Beiber fame. I commend your writing and speaking about subjects that matter to the heart and soul of what is real, and that you’re OK wiith the success of a few sold and a thousand given as well as a thousand sold and few given. Carry on my friend.
Hi! I just found this website. Is this a blog where you post several times a week? I’m always looking to connect with other musicians. If you’re on Facebook perhaps you would be interested in checking out my music? Be sure to “like”!
