There’s a rumour that Viacom have made a $450m buyout offer of Last FM. If so, then worries about increasing royalties for web streaming on the other side of the Atlantic might be the last thing on their minds…

  1. Heh, I heard this rumour a few months ago too. As far as I know, there’s no chance of a takeover in the near future. Not from Viacom at least, but probably not from anyone.
