My life is built around people, ideas and places, linked to contemporary culture, lifestyle and music, music, music (I love music!).
I am a creative media professional. I work for media companies and cultural events. Besides that I work as a freelancer with different organisations in the online media/radio/music industry.
After university, I started off in acting and played in different television and movie productions. Not long after that, I got to engage in my great passion: music! I had my own radio show on SLAM! FM, a well-known pop & electronic radio station in the Netherlands. Besides that I presented and hosted music events & festivals.
I worked as a project manager for Veronica Holding, a large media company in the Netherlands. I mainly developed projects in online media & music. Since I’m pretty tech-savvy (21th century girl!) I think in terms of Twitter, iPhone, social media and platforms.
2 years ago I started my own “night festival”, Club Cult. This festival is a mix of new music with cultural and creative expressions. I like to focus on the creative approach and to create memorable moments for the viewers and listeners. Showing things in a new way. Be open with my senses and make surprising connections. Choosing the right medium for the right subject. To fire-start weird moments, tweaking and teasing, being raw, impulsive, and playing with conventions.
