Nuala on the 20 Things

It’s not just for rock bands and rappers, you know…

I was presenting at a ‘getting into the music business’ seminar today, and in the break I was approached by Nuala Pinson who had managed to get hold of one of the (now quite rare) print copies of the 20 Things e-book. She was very enthusiastic about it, so I asked her if she’d mind if I asked her about it on camera.

Nuala’s looking for a bit of assistance with her website - and I’m sure she wouldn’t mind doing an exchange: implement the 20 Things on her behalf, and she’ll help you sleep better at night with one of her relaxation audio programmes.

    with Nuala and the (calamitous) cricket you must have been smiling all day since posting that encounter, and deservedly so, indeed such a heart-warming tale so central to the thrust of your themes inspires me to think of Oxfordly worded definitions….

    dubber
    -verb, (dub∙ber) [duhb er]
    to dubber is to pursue both fiscal reward and self-actualisation from music-related endeavour without recourse to playing pubs in Camden every night for a month, becoming a regular paparazzi prize or selling your soul to the slavery that is major labeldom.

    I’m sure there’s a decent noun in there too. Good on Nuala for pushing an alternative to single malt whisky and all the best to her :-)

    Just to point out that the print version of 20 things (that Dubber kindly allowed the project I run to publish) isn’t so rare anymore as I went and did a reprint.

    I have about 400 of them in the office at the moment so drop me a line at info@digital-central.co.uk and I’ll put one in the post to you. I will of course include the triangular desk-tidy thingy that ensures the 20 things are forever in your eyeline on your desk.
