At a concert earlier this year, I was overjoyed when the lead singer approached me after the show - I was loitering near the stage, gazing admiringly at the band packing down their gear - to thank me personally for attending. The next day I logged on to their website and spent a large sum of money on merchandise, and have since travelled a long way to see them perform again. Seeing as I haven't spent much on their music content to date, when other means of supporting the band arise, I'll jump at them. Great advice. Not just dropping the price from $1000 American dollars to $500 but also adding a ridiculous amount of additional content! I bought my legit copy of Logic Pro 7 just over a year ago and I did pay the full $1k for it...I could be bitter about Logic 8 (a.k.a. - Logic Studio) but I am not. I welcome all the new users who will hopefully flock to this amazing all-in-one digital studio. I will also gladly upgrade for the meager $200 bucks! Its a steal! The additional content alone is worth over a grand! Apple may come across as snobbish to some but I think it is just confidence and quality mistaken as arrogance.
