Copyright extension – again

It turns out that UK parliamentarians have either not read or not understood the Gower report. Seventy MPs have now signed an Early Day Motion calling for extension of copyright despite the report’s recommendation that “The European Commission should retain the length of protection on sound recordings and performers’ rights at 50 years.”

It’s very important that you read this and then please write to your MP. Thanks.
